POSITION PURPOSE AND SCOPE:
This position is responsible for keeping all areas of the plant, machinery, production rooms and equipment clean, at the direction of the supervisor. The schedule for this position will be Monday through Friday 4pm to 12am
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
EDUCATION EXPERIENCE:
High school diploma or equivalent plus 1 – 3 years work experience in production or manufacturing environment; preferrably nutraceutical or pharmaceutical environment.
SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
The employee may be required to lift and/or move up to 50 lbs on a regular basis.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Manufacturing/office environment which may include loud noise levels for extended periods of time, long hours standing, sitting, bending, twisting, walking, climbing stairs, strong odors, lifting up to 50lbs, confined spaces, warm and cold temperatures, wet/slippery and slick surface environment.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Ability to work independently, without frequent direct supervision
- Keep all trash and scrap receptacles empty and clean
- Keep the floors swept and free of excessive build up, spills, and debris.
- Identify, correct, and/or immediately report conditions which may compromise food safety (open doors, torn screens, drums of product not covered, etc.)
- Identify any acts which may compromise food safety and report them immediately to their manager.
- Attend all required training sessions
- Perform CIP’s (Clean in Place)
- Perform COP’s (Clean out of Place)
- Troubleshoot CIP errors
- Clean Production areas and equipment for next day’s use.
- Must be able to work the required shift schedule.
- Perform other duties or tasks as needed or directed by supervisor.

SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- Ability to work well with others and in a team environment.
- Troubleshoot minor repairs and make adjustments according to specifications.
- Excellent time management skills.
- Basic math skills.
- Must be able to interpret customer specs, batch records, GMP and SOPs.
- Ability to work long hours, rotating shifts, and weekends.
- Must be able to read, write, understand and speak the English language.
