POSITION PURPOSE AND SCOPE:
Works in cooperation with the logistics manager in all aspects of shipping and receiving of materials, packaging and equipment.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
High school diploma or equivalent, with a minimum of 1 year experience in shipping.
SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Long hours standing, sitting, bending, twisting, walking, climbing stairs. Required to lift and/or move up to 75 lbs.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Manufacturing/office environment which may include loud noise levels for extended periods of time, long hours standing, sitting, bending, twisting, walking, climbing stairs, strong odors, confined spaces, warm or cold temperatures, wet/slippery and slick surface environment.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Reviews bills of lading for outgoing finished goods, and components.
- Invoices finished goods.
- Communicates with freight companies and customers to arrange shipment of finished goods.
- Manages inventory in warehouse.
- Oracle duties to include shipping against sales orders, receiving against puchase orders, pull and transact move orders.
- Create shipping documents in MS programs.
- Ensures warehouse is organized and clean.
- Provides preventative maintenance of forklift and works with maintenance department to coordinate minor – major repairs of equipment.
- Any other duties and/or responsibilities as assigned.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
High school diploma or equivalent, with a minimum of 1 year experience in shipping.
SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- Related work experience in manufacturing environment preferred.
- Oracle Experience required.
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
- Knowledge of MS Applications a must.
- Strong critical thinking and communications skills.
- Ability to work well with others and within a team environment.
- Ability to handle stressful situations and multiple projects.
- Basic math skills.
- Ability to work long hours, rotating shifts, and/or weekends.
- Forklift certified.
